$4,000 = Clean Water for Four Communities in South Sudan

I’m Going the Distance again with a nudge from my sweet friend Lisa to run a half marathon in February. Our team goal is to raise $10,000 to repair 10 wells in South Sudan. My personal goal is to raise $4,000—enough to repair 4 wells for 4 communities. 

I turned 50 in October & the best 1/2 century celebration gift would be to have 50 amazing people join me by donating and going the distance with me (I'll add your name to my shirt to cross the finish line)!  

Why Clean Water Matters

Access to clean water means so much more than just quenching thirst. It means health, safety, and a chance for women and children to go to school or work instead of spending hours every day fetching water. Every well we repair helps over 400 people get clean, safe water right in their community.

I'll join our South Sudan Director, field reporters, and Well-Repair Mechanics in South Sudan this spring. I can't wait to personally share with you the impact your gift makes! Their presence means the availability of spare parts and labor for every well that needs repair in their county.
