Cancer is never an easy topic to discuss, especially when it happens to someone you love. In February 2018 my nephew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was brought to Children's Minneapolis for a few days of testing and then began receiving chemo on his 4th birthday.
This will be my second marathon as a Team Superstars athlete and I am so excited! Knowing that I can do something so simple to help kids and family's brings so much joy to my heart. All of the funds raised will go towards covering hotel costs for families that come from out of town to stay at the Children's hospital.
The team at Children's has done a great job educating and supporting our family throughout William's journey and I am hoping to do an even better job with this endeavor in return. Thank you in advance for being a generous human being!!
