Recently, a number of my family members have been diagnosed with various kinds of cancer. While it is difficult to watch aunts, uncles, and grandparents go through a multitude of treatments, successes and setbacks, I cannot imagine the pain and fear that parents feel when their young childr is enduring these same treatments and emotional rollercoasters. I'm participating in this event to do my part to help ensure that fewer parents have to endure this pain and suffering in the future.
