Why I'm Involved in the Club...

Hey All. Some of you may know that I have worked with Boys and Girls Clubs of Bellevue for a little over two years now and some of you may not. It was not until I had the opportunity to work with the kids that I really saw the impact that we have on a day to day basis in these kids lives. We provide scholarships to kids who's families cannot afford the program costs, which is over 1 million dollars which is only covered by generous donations from people and corporations. We also provide kids a safe place to be and a place where they can truly be themselves. Without the donations to cover the scholarships, we would not be able to provide those kids with the tools that they need to succeed. Which is why I am here asking you to please show us some love because we need your help to continue to provide these children with a place that they can be kids at.

DID YOU KNOW?

• There are 96 languages spoken in Bellevue School District and every child has a voice at the Boys & Girls Club.
• Currently, there are hundreds of kids who are not able to access the club’s services because we lack the scholarship funds to open the doors for those kids this year.
• The need is greater than ever. The Club serves 60,000 meals and snacks each year and your support will make sure kids continue to have a stable food source.
