Why I'm Involved in the Club...

Growing up I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in many after school activities, sports, and summer camps. Through these programs I gained friendships and developed life skills that were were important to my successes growing up and today. Participation in safe, supportive, and positive programming outside of school is crucial to youth development. Here at the Club, we provide these programs to thousands of youth each day.

I've spent nearly 10 years working in recreational youth programming in serveral organizations. The Boys and Girls Club embraces the "Whatever it takes" motto in supporting the youth in the community that need it most. In my 3 years and the Club I have worked heavily in our scholarship process. Our Clubs award over $1 million each year in program scholarships to youth who otherwise would not be able to attend. Seeing these members succeed in our programs is the best part of my job. Please join me in ensuring our Clubs can continue to support the youth and families that need us most.

DID YOU KNOW?

• There are 96 languages spoken in Bellevue School District and every child has a voice at the Boys & Girls Club.
• Currently, there are hundreds of kids who are not able to access the club’s services because we lack the scholarship funds to open the doors for those kids this year.
• The need is greater than ever. The Club serves 60,000 meals and snacks each year and your support will make sure kids continue to have a stable food source.
