Why I'm Involved in the Club...

I started working at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue as a part time program staff right out of college. After deciding that I did not want to be a classroom teacher, I had been searching for a different way to impact the lives of young people. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue I found that, and so much more. In the 5 years since I first started with the organization, I have been fortunate enough to work in multiple positions in both our elementary and teen programs. And I have loved every second of it. Being able to welcome youth of all ages and backgrounds into a safe and caring environment after school fills my heart with genuine joy every single day. I have been fortunate enough to watch first hand as this amazing organization has helped so many young people have experiences that they otherwise would not have been afforded. It is through the generous donations of people like YOU that we are able to do this amazing work.

GREAT FUTURES DAY is an All IN community campaign to make sure every youth has a great future!

DID YOU KNOW?

• There are 96 languages spoken in Bellevue School District and every child has a voice at the Boys & Girls Club.
• Currently, there are hundreds of kids who are not able to access the club’s services because we lack the scholarship funds to open the doors for those kids this year.
• The need is greater than ever. The Club serves 60,000 meals and snacks each year and your support will make sure kids continue to have a stable food source.
