Stone Soup Vintage is a women-owned shop in the heart of Winston-Salem. They are six eclectic women with a shared passion for vintage treasures, antiques, art, jewelry, and upcycled fashion. The shop is carefully curated together, creating a vibrant and eclectic vibe where every piece feels connected. For Stone Soup designers, home means a place where you feel at peace and free to create. The vignette they designed for the givingRooms is “The Golden Hour Studio” — an eclectic sunroom turned seasonal artist retreat. Imagine an artist sipping coffee, sketching, and gathering inspiration surrounded by texture, color, and cozy chaos.

Committed greeNest volunteers Danielle Chewning, Jill Kuharcik, Viki McCool, Penny Jenkins, and Mary Bryant Smith join forces to demonstrate that with a little creativity and partnership, we can do great things! With the same collaboration that makes the work at greeNest possible, they pool their creativity to create a vignette that offers all the warmth and comfort that each child deserves. Inspired by the greeNest Up Off the Floor program, which recently celebrated the 3,000th child to receive a bed, it has touches of whimsy and plenty of opportunity for a child’s imagination to run free. Whether it is peering out a window into the forest on a moonlight night, gazing up at the stars that sparkle through the tree above, or snuggling up with a book in the reading nook “nest”, this room is designed to be enjoyed by children of many ages.
