Green the Scene is our annual fundraising event that supports our litter prevention, beautification, and community improvement programming throughout Akron. This casual evening celebration will take place after work on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Akron Art Museum, and we’re especially excited to celebrate 45 years of making Akron cleaner, greener, and more beautiful.
This year’s location is especially meaningful, as guests will have the opportunity to experience the newly revitalized Bud and Susie Rogers Garden, thoughtfully refreshed by the Keep Akron Beautiful Flowerscape crew.
The evening will feature a silent and live auction, along with dinner prepared by Vaccaro’s Culinary Team featuring local food, local desserts, and local spirits, all while enjoying the outdoors and a beautiful summer evening in downtown Akron.
