Girl Scouting is a life-changer, for the girls who are currently in Girl Scouts and for the women who draw on their Girl Scout experience every day as they work to make the world a better place. I'm fundraising this Giving Tuesday to help make sure every girl has the opportunity be a Girl Scout.

Every day I witness the power of Girl Scouts in my own daughter, who tells me the Girl Scouts made her brave. In the safe, no-pressure, girls-only environment Girl Scouts provides, Madison found the confidence to let herself shine. From overcoming the jitters of speaking in front of her class at school to not being afraid to try out for a new sport to canvassing our neighborhood to share Girl Scout Cookies, she has built the courage to take a step outside her comfort zone in so many ways.

Plus, she has access to all kinds of amazing programs and events that she wouldn't otherwise get to experience! Going to camp or building a business, giving back to the community or building a robot are just a few of the things a Girl Scout can do — her experience is all her own!
