IMPORTANT information for ALL golfers!

To ensure everything runs smoothly and to guarantee a fantastic experience for all participants, we have included crucial registration details and event information in this email. Please take a moment to review these details carefully.


Key Points to Highlight:


Registration Information: It is essential that each participant checks in at the registration table. This will help us finalize our arrangements and ensure that everyone is properly accounted for. REGISTRATION is from 9:30 am to 11:30 am

  • Receive starting hole number, bathroom code & assigned dinner table
  • Download app for auction (if you have not already) – download GIVI app on phone (7 auction items which include golf packages, Bears tickets, Blackhawks tickets and locker room tour, VIP beverage cart for 2025, and a PS5)
  • Receive 2 alcohol drink tickets for course or dinner (bottled water, sodas & Gatorade is free from beverage carts on course)
  • Pick up golfer gift
  • Register for the Mega Putt Challenge and PartTee Cart chance - details below and purchase cash raffle tickets and prize raffle tickets


Event Day Logistics: We have outlined the schedule of events, venue details, and any special instructions you need to be aware of for the day. Familiarizing yourself with this information will contribute greatly to the smooth operation of the event.


10:30 am to 11:30 am – LUNCH will be available in the Golf Side Ballroom/Outdoor Snack Bar - behind the building


11:45 am – MEGA PUTT CHALLENGE will be held at the practice green in front of the building Please arrive a few minutes before to secure a spot surrounding the practice green.


11: 50 am – PAR-TEE GOLF CART RAFFLE winner will be announced and their golf cart swapped out.


12:00 pm – SHOT-GUN START - in front of building in parking lot.


Please follow rules to speed up play as we have 144 golfers and would like everyone to arrive in time for the dinner program:

  1. Minimize your time on the tee
  2. Play “Ready Golf”
  3. Plan your shot before you get to the ball
  4. Off the tee, determine your yardage & make your club selection before it is your turn to play
  5. Keep your pre-shot routine short; no more than 1-2 practice swings
  6. Be ready to hit when it is your turn
  7. Hit first, then search; play your shot before helping your playing partner
  8. Keep flagstick in; it is no longer a penalty to strike the flagstick in the hole with a shot from the green
  9. Finish short putts on the green rather than marking them. You’ll probably make more.
  10. Follow the flight of all tee shots, not just your own

  • Mega Putt Challenge - ($10 per ball; choose your ball from a basket; prior to shot-gun start, all players participating will putt their numbered golf ball from the edge of the practice green area into the designated hole. Winner whose ball goes into the hole receives a RF Foursome Golf Certificate.
  • Par-Tee Golf Cart Raffle - $10 chance to win a Ruffled Feathers golf cart stocked with your choice of 6-pack beverage along with RF items. Winner announced prior to shot-gun start. (Valued at $150)
  • Grand Cash Raffle - 1 ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $25; Drawing will be held during the dinner program. 1st Prize ($500); 2nd Prize ($200); 3rd Prize ($100)
  • Prize Raffle - 1 ticket for $10, 3 tickets for $25 or an “Arm’s Length” (20 tickets) for $100; Drawing will be held during the dinner program; top 3 prizes include:

                1. Itasca Country Club Foursome Golf Gift Certificate

                2. Ruffled Feathers Golf Club Gift Certificates

                3. Cubs tickets

  • HOLE-IN-ONE CONTEST (Hole #8) -  Middle Tee for Men (166 yds.) and Forward Tee for Women (154 yds.) Winner receives a 2-year lease on a Buick Encore GX
  • GOLF BALL CANNON LAUNCH (Hole #13) - $10 chance to use a launcher to count as your drive
  • MONEY HOLE (Hole #17) - At least $5 gives you a chance to drive your ball into the circle on the green to get double your money back
  • FOURSOME PHOTO (Hole #18) - FREE! Pose with your foursome. Foursome photos will be framed and available at your table during the dinner program
  • 40-FOOT PUTTING CHALLENGE (practice putting green) - $5 chance (as many times as you want to) try to sink your 40-foot putt into the hole. Winner receives a generous Dick’s Sporting Good gift card.
  • LONGEST DRIVE (Men & Women) – Hole #9
