Friends,

We all know that the entire world is fighting against Corona Virus.  This effort is to raise funds through Children's Minnesota during this difficult time.  As we all know that there are overwelming patients who are infected with this deadly virus and the local hospitals are finding it difficult to accommodate them all due to various reasons.  Those could be, but not limited to shortage of masks, ventilators, number of beds, gloves.

The amount that we raise through this page (Children's Minnesota Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) will directly help the hospital staff to purchase the most required items to treat patients who are infected.

Things to know about COVID-19:

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.

The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.

HOW IT SPREADS

Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.
