LET'S DO LUNCH!

Gallatin Valley Packathon is your chance to help alleviate chronic hunger for 200 school children in Bois Negresse, Haiti!

Though we hear terrible news from Haiti, Bois Negresse is a remote mountain village far from the trouble, and our meals have always arrived safely, if sometimes delayed. Let's stay with these children as they stay in school and keep studying!

At our event, Montana volunteers, aged 5-105, team up to assemble school lunches of fortified rice, beans and dehydrated vegetables for students who, otherwise, can’t always count on even one meal at home. You could help in two ways:

  • Donate Now to fund 3 tons of food and shipping.
  • Register today for a 90-minute packing session October 19 at Hope Lutheran Church in Bozeman. Sessions start at 9 am, 11:30, or 2 pm with a brief presentation about life in Bois Negresse, then we get to work! We have jobs for people who must sit, jobs for those who want a workout, and everyone in between.

You can be part of this great project!

Future Forward for Haiti hosts this event to improve the education and well-being of children and their families in Haiti. Gallatin Valley Packathon helps Haitian kids grow up strong and smart, hopefully, to address the challenges their country faces. We urge you to join us. Let's Do Lunch in a big Montana way for kids who will need lunch every weekday through 2025, just like we will!

If you prefer to donate with a check, please write it to Future Forward for Haiti, and mail it to 3805 Toole Street, Bozeman MT 59718. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no paid employees so over 95% of your gift goes to provide these meals.
