Gallatin Valley Packathon gives me a way to send help!
Let's Do Lunch!
I am a retired Kindergarten teacher and I used to stress to my kiddos that if everyone pitches in on a class project,it gets done faster and is easier and more fun because everyone is working together as a team. This same principal is applied when Future Forward for Haiti holds another Gallatin Valley Packathon to provide school lunches for the kids in Bois Negresse. When lots of volunteers get together to pack meals it is amazing how many boxes are filled in one day!
Why am I participating in this packathon? Because it is for kids who are hungry and are powerlessto change their situation. Deliveries have gotten through so we are confident these meals packed in October will get through too! It has been proven that kids who are hungry just cannot keep up their studies but these kids we are providing meals for are doing their best to be promoted to the next grade. So would you join me in this successful project?
$30,000+300 Montana volunteers can provide lunch for 190 students in their remote mountain community. This packathon will be on October 19, 2024 at Hope Lutheran Church in Bozeman for three 90 minute packing sessions. So pleaseDonate Now or come and help us pack those lunches.
