"LET'S GO ON A VIRTUAL MISSION TRIP," we said.

Gallatin Valley Packathon for Haiti, October 15, was a mighty day!

Four hundred and forty eight volunteers became fast friends! We just could not stop packing school lunches for 185 students at the Light and Peace School in Bois Negresse, Haiti! With those sweet kids in our hearts, it feels like we gained a bunch of friends in Haiti as well. Thank you, Gallatin Valley friends, for a great day. It's all good! It was so good, we packed beyond the needs of that one school, so 7th graders in that nearby area can benefit as well! It's all REALLY, REALLY GOOD!

If anyone feels like celebrating by contributing to the cost of this "overage," it's not too late. Never too late. You can Donate Now. It reminds me of those ancient words from the Hebrew Scriptures: "You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

It was just that kind of a day. What a privilege to be able to live into that vision.

If you prefer to donate with a check, please write it to Future Forward for Haiti, and mail it to 3805 Toole Street, Bozeman MT 59718. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no paid employees so over 95% of your gift goes to provide these meals.
