Why I'm fundraising...
I am rowing for my dad who I lost to suicide when I was 6 years old. My dad was only 30 year old when he passed. This April 27th will be 26 years since we lost him. Thank you for any and all of your support.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death in the US for people ages 15 – 34, and Vermont’s suicide rate is higher than the national average.
Project Hoeppner was created to increase awareness around the catastrophe that is teen suicide and offer courage for teens to say “I need help” and for their loved ones to hear it. The goal of sponsored events is to create opportunities for teens, loved ones and the community to connect and communicate honestly with each other…without judgement. To learn more, please visit projecthoeppner.com.
I have chosen to show my support of Project HOePpnEr and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum by participating in the Hope for TomorROW event and fundraiser. I hope you will support my efforts by making a donation.
