Bob Flynn is hosting a fundraiser in memory of Charlotte Flynn to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Institute.

Fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Research

Hi Everyone!

I am running the Boston Marathon in April 2023. Since the race will occur during the same month that Charlotte passed away in 2021, I'd like to use this as an opportunity to recognize her and her courageous fight against ovarian cancer. I'd also like to use this as an opportunity to give others diagnosed with ovarian cancer a better chance at survival.

The Ovarian Cancer Institute is proactively researching ways to

  • Diagnose ovarian cancer at early stages.
  • Treat patients with productive therapies designed to effectively target cancer cells in ways that are different from traditional chemotherapy.

I'll note that Charity Navigator rates the Ovarian Cancer Institute as a Four Star Charity with a high 94% rating for Accountability and Finance. For more information about their work, read https://ovariancancerinstitute.org/research/.
