Hey everybody. As most of you know, Tony and I were signed up to go to Haiti last year for a mission trip but they had civil unrest in the country so the trip had to be called off. We have signed up to go again this year and things have settled down there so the trip is a go.
The country of Haiti is devistated by Hurricanes and earthquakes and the average person there makes about $1 per day so there is no way they can rebuild on their own. A group of us from Fishhawk Fellowship Church are going down there to join forces with Welcome Home Haiti to build homes. They build an average of 12 homes per year with the help of donations and volunteers like us.
The good news is that most of the money that was donated last year has been transferred to the trip this year. Thank you so much to those who donated. We are just over 40% of our goal for funds raised for the trip. We ask that you pray and see if it is in your heart and budget to donate for this trip.
