Hello everyone! I am ecstatic to be joining as one of the Hard as Nails missionaries for this year! Here is a little bit of my story... I graduated from high school in 2020 and decided to skip college, choosing to start a career in welding instead. I took classes and was certified; but after 5 months of waiting for an apprenticeship, and working full time as a delivery driver, I knew that I was starting to lose my sense of purpose. I had prayed for a long time about possibly becoming a missionary, and always had HANM in the back of my mind; but it wasn't until this March that I truly considered applying. I remember being in Adoration one, early morning and asking God about what I should do. I told Him to make it extremely clear what His plans are for me because otherwise I was going to start making my own plans, and that rarely ends well. When I prayed specifically about the possibility of HANM, I felt this sense of peace and decided to start the application process later that day. I told God "If they accept me, I am taking that as Your sign for me to go." Well, I guess God wanted me to serve Him through this mission, because here I am! I cannot wait to start this new path in my journey to Christ!
