My name is Juliana Calzonetti! I am from Garden City, Kansas, I am the daughter of Greg and Mary Calzonetti and the youngest of five children. I was very blessed to be raised in the faith and to have a strong support system throughout my younger years. From a young age, I fell in love with sports, and it quickly consumed much of my life. Most of my childhood was spent at practices, tournaments, and on long road trips in the car. In high school, when it came time to decide what my future would hold, I naturally assumed sports would be my compass. Wherever I received a scholarship or athletic opportunity—that would be my next step. Although I quickly realized that wasn’t a firm foundation. None of my go-to options were. Whether it was sports, friends, romantic relationships, or even family—none of them compared to the divine love I didn't know I was craving. I was pretty stubborn when it came to surrendering, but over time, I finally placed my identity and trust in the Lord—and eventually made Him the center of my life!
Student-athletes need to know they are MORE THAN the sports they play! Their identity and worth is MORE THAN their ability to compete.
They are Amazing not because of what they do but because of WHO they are! It is through identifying their true GREATNESS that makes them the most influential and inspirational players in the athletic arena.
