Our Nonprofit & Vision

Self Enquiry Life Fellowship is a top-rated nonprofit offering holistic educational and spiritual programs to thousands worldwide. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we purchased the Hansadhaman Monastery property in 2023, nestled in the serene foothills of Penn Valley, CA. This estate holds extraordinary promise as a living haven where Vedic Sanskrit heritage, sacred art, and timeless wisdom can be preserved and shared with future generations.

Phase 1 Development – Completed in 2024

In the first year of development, we invested $370,000 to establish essential infrastructure and remodel existing spaces. Phase 1 projects completed:

  • Remodeled key facilities to suit immediate needs
  • Widened and expanded the access road and driveway
  • Converted the garage into a state-of-the-art office and art archive room
  • Purchased altars, household supplies, and furnishings
  • Completed architectural planning and site preparation for future buildings
  • Constructed outdoor amenities
  • Prepared the land for a permaculture garden

Phase 2 Development – Sacred and Lasting Spaces

Phase 2 focuses on creating permanent spaces for teaching, practice, and preservation. Our first priority is the Vedic Chanting Cottage—a 1200 sq. ft. Vastu-designed residence for His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda and visiting monks, Vedic chanters, Sanskrit scholars, and aspirants who seek spiritual rejuvenation.

Construction of the Vedic Chanting Cottage commenced on 28th May 2025, a day of quiet significance when His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda personally met with the architect and the builder to mark the precise True-North alignment (13 degrees counter-clockwise to Magnetic North at Hansadhaman), establishing the control line that will guide the entire project in accordance with Vastu principles.

Phase 2 projects include:

  • Vedic Chanting Cottage (1200 sq. ft., Vastu architecture): $775,000
  • Art Studio with archival storage (1000 sq. ft.): $325,000
  • Vastu architecture fees: $25,000
  • Open-air Vedic Temple under Pipal Tree: $50,000
  • Furnishings for new construction: $20,000

Total Phase 2 Goal: $1,195,000
