Biography:
I started surfing at 13 years old. I wanted to serve my country, so I joined the US Army to become a 13 Bravo. I was wounded in Iraq on April 4th 2003 and was medically retired from the military. Things went downhill and I was diagnosed with TBI, PTSD, a left leg injury, and hearing loss. I was in a dark place and sank into the bottle. After a few years and a few extra pounds, I decided to get back into the water and start surfing again. I found my happy place! Then finally my dream came true to surf in Hawaii with AccesSurf. The waves and the ocean really did Save My Life!
