Fundraising Prizes

  • Meet Your $100 Fundraising Goal—Win a DRESS DOWN DAY! Only students who meet their $100 goal will be permitted to dress down that day. Date TBA.

  • Raise $250 or More—Win a pair of HOLY CROSS PAJAMA PANTS and a Special "Pajama Pants Dress Down Day!" Only students wearing Walkathon Pajama Bottoms will be permitted to dress down that day. Date TBA.

 

Raffle Drawings

  • "Regular Raffle" #1—Wednesday, October 15—$50 Visa Gift Card. ***For this raffle only, the number of chances to win is determined by how many persons join a student's fundraising team by the 10/15 deadline -- not by how much money has been raised.  For instance, if no one signs up for a student's team, that student gets zero chances to win and is ineligible for the raffle. If just the student registers and joins his/her fundraising team, that student gets one chance to win. If one of that student's parents registers as well, that's two person registered, or two chances to win, etc.

For qualify for later raffles, students must reach their $100 goal by the end of homeroom on the day of the raffle. Students will receive one chance to win for every $100 raised. (For example, if a student were to raise $100 by the raffle deadline, that student would get one chance to win—but if another student raised $700, that student would get 7 chances!) Raffle winners will be announced the next school day.

Top Performance Awards and Prizes

Winners of the top performance awards below will be determined based on the fundraising totals received by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 6—the day prior to the Walkathon.

  • Top Student Fundraisers. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Bro. Ralph Edmiston, C.S.C. medals will be awarded to the top three student fundraisers. These students will have the honor of carrying the school banner on Walkathon Day alongside the members of Student Government. The gold medal winner will also receive the top prize—a $225 Apple gift card. 

 

  • Top Fundraising Homeroom. The homeroom that raises the most money will win the Br. Ralph Edmiston, C.S.C. Walkathon Trophy—and bragging rights—for 2025. This homeroom will have the honor of hoisting the trophy and walking first in line, right behind the school banner, on Walkathon Day, and the trophy will reside in their homeroom until next year’s Walkathon. The top homeroom will also get to celebrate with a full breakfast during second and third periods on. Breakfast date TBA.
