When my fiancé and I found out that we were going to have a baby, we were elated. We spent countless hours dreaming about what our baby would be like, what our baby what look like. Little did we know, that when our baby were to be born, our lives would change more than we had ever thought. 

Much to our surprise, our precious baby girl was born with a very sick heart. She was born with critical aortic stenosis and needed an emergency heart procedure to save her life. The amazing doctors and nurses at Children's in Mpls saved our baby. More than once, actually. When she was just 15 months old, she had her first open heart surgery at Children's. 

For the rest of her life, our daughter will need to be on medication, will need to be monitored by a cardiologist. Please consider donating, not just for us or her but for other children like our brave warrior. Donate for the children that have lost their lives to congenital heart disease.
