Our Sweet Baby Hazel RaeAnn was born November 2014 in the middle of a snow storm.  Lilly and I were lucky enough to make it in time and be a part of bring her in to the world.  Hours after Hazel was born she was air lifted to Children's Hospital were she was diagnosed Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrom.  (HRH.)  HRH is a very rare condition.  In 2015 there were was less than a 1000 cases reported. 

Hazel has successfully undergone two open heart surgeries At Children's Hospital, with another planned for some time in 2017.

Sweet Baby Hazel is currently back at Children's Hopsital due to a blood clot that was found 6/14/2016 at a routine check up.  This is Hazel forth hospitzaltion.

Children's Hospital has become a sort of second family to Hazel and family; always making sure her Mom, Dad and family are comfortable and informed. They genuinely care for the well-being of our sweet little girl. Hazel has been a rock star through all of her last 19 months of life. Her cardiac health is stable and she continues to meet all of her milestones. She's our true miracle!
