I had open heart surgery at 6 weeks old. Very scary for my family as I don't remember it. I just remember going for check ups at Children's every couple years or so. I remember in middle school wearing a heart monitor for a whole 24 hours. I currently am a mother of two, a wife to an amazing husband, an auntie to 3 nephews and 3 nieces, a sister and a daughter.
I'm doing this walk for an amazing cause and hope more children can have a long and happy life I was blessed to have so far. I am walking on a team with a close friend in support of her son. Please help me raise money so more children can benefit from the cardiovasular program at Children's.
