Zayden was born on 1/12/2015 with Tricuspid Atresia / Hypoplastic Right Heart. At 10 days old Zayden had his first heart surgery and at seven months he had his second. His first year of life was packed full of ups and downs, but because of his resilience, alongside of the magnificent people at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, Zayden is a bubbly, silly, thoughtful, thriving, chubby-cheeked little boy. Most days we forget there's anything wrong with him. While the scars run deep, physically and emotionally, sometimes it's best to forget. However, Zayden's heart can never be corrected. We have at least one more surgery in two and a half years We remain very well connected with Children's Heart Clinic and his cardiologists, and we could not ask for better care. On June 25th, we walk to support the Cardiovascular Team at Children's and we hope that you'll share our story and walk with us!
