Hello! My name is Mary and I am the captain of the People Incorporated team. I encourage you to read my story on my individual page, if you would like to know about my journey with CHD. I have been blessed to work for People Incorporated, which fosters a supportive and encouraging work environment.
I am especially excited to be working for an orgnization that recognizes the complex interactions between physical health and mental health, as well as the impact of either having a physical condition or having a close family member with a physical illness. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety are just a few mental health conditions that can be found in a higher proportion among those with congenital heart disease, and their parents.
The following is a little blurb about People Incorporated. Learn more at http://www.peopleincorporated.org/
