Welcome to our fourth annual fundraising effort for the Singh's SweetHeart Racers! As many of you already know, Dr. Singh and the cardiovascular team at Children's Hospitals and Clinics have made a lasting positive impression on our lives through the level of support, encouragement, and quality of care they provided for us during some of the most stressful times of our lives. Throughout the years, we have heard many other stories of how patients and their families have been positively impacted by these same services. Therefore, we found it necessary to show our own support and gratitude for Dr. Singh by creating a team in his honor and giving back.

If you are new to our stories, Katie has been a life-long patient of Dr. Singh. She was born with a coarctation and hole in her heart that required corrective surgery as an infant. She then contracted endocarditis and required another surgery, the Ross Procedure, in 1999. Alex became a patient of Dr. Singh's in 1998 after contracting rheumatic fever.

As of now, both of us are doing well and continue to receive regular heart check-ups...although, they won't allow us to keep attending Children's despite our best efforts ; )
Katie has recently gotten another year of good news regarding her heart functioning and Alex is working hard to maintain a healthy heart.
