Hi Friends and family,

We are running in the Heartbeat 5000 on June 27th. We’ve been running/walking this race with Michael for 3 years since Michael had major heart surgery. He calls it My Heartbeat Race. Since he LOVES Children’s it’s a way to see some beloved staff from the Cardiovascular Unit and applaud their efforts without being admitted! (Although when we go to Children’s he is always a bit disappointed if he doesn’t “get” to stay!)

This summer, Mary has started volunteering at Children’s and Liz joined the Family Advisory Council.

We wanted to spread the word and raise some important money for their amazing cardiovascular program.

It would be so exciting for Michael to see his team raise some money for Children’s—any small amount is good—we mean that-- $5 or whatever!
