Come and join Team Tupa for our 5th Heartbeat 5k walk/run!
This is Team Tupa’s 5th year of participating in the Heartbeat 5K! We look forward to this event every year, and love helping out a cause that we know is so important.
This is a cause that is very personal to us, Adam and Logan continue to be monitored for a Bicuspid Aortic Valve, which is a (thankfully) minor heart defect. Since it is hereditary, Brody is being tested later this year (Izak was tested earlier this year, and we were thankful to find out he does NOT have the defect!). Although the defect we are dealing with is not serious at this time, there are many others who are dealing with more serious conditions. We know the money we raise goes to help the families that need it, and that Children’s puts that money to good use! This is a way we have found to give back to Children's who took care of Logan for many different complications after he was born. It is truly a wonderful and caring facility that does remarkable things in all areas of pediatric care.
