Sam Schumann is 6 months younger than Beatrix and has undergone 4 surgeries to repair his heart.  Hopefully, he is done with surgeries now!  Beatrix & Dave & I will be walking the 5K on June 27 to celebrate his health and life right now.  Beatrix has done this twice before with Sam, so she is an expert this year.  

Sam's mom Stacey was my best friend growing up--11 dance recitals, roommates at college (she was the Romy to my Michele), good times.  100% of the proceeds donated go directly to the caridiovascular floor at Childrens Hospital, the place that saved Sam's life!
