Sitting on the boards and watching the games can get kinda hard.......Jalynn loves to run around and see her friends and make new friends. (She knows more people than we do!)
Jalynn celebrated CHD awareness week at Preschool with her friends. They read the book "Zipline" and decorated cookies with edible band-aids on them. Feedback from Teachers was that is was great and all the kids enjoyed it. And one little girl told Jalynn, she is so brave! (I agree!)
Jalynn was born to our surprise with CHD. She had her 1st open heart surgery at 10 weeks, and her 2nd open heart surgery at 9 months, with another surgery the following week for her permanent pacemaker. As she keeps growing, she is getting closer to having her 3rd open heart surgery. We have been blessed to have had such great care for Jalynn since she was born and throughout the years at Children's Heart Clinic and Children's Hospital. The staff at Children's Heart Clinic and the Children's Hospital have been so caring and supportive, we could not ask for a better place for Jalynn. We would love for you to join our team and help support the wonderful program and care at Children's, who will continue to care for Jalynn and so many other children and families that live with CHD.
