Five years ago, Grant and I were reeling from the news that we were expecting a child with critical congenital heart disease. Five years ago, the idea of a fifth birthday year, filled with new experiences and milestones met, seemed about as far away as we could ever imagine. But here we are - happy and grateful, with two boys who are about to turn FIVE and continuing to THRIVE!

We invite you to join us as we embark on what we hope is our biggest fundraising effort yet to support cardiovascular care at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota at the HeartBeat 5000. This year is so significant for our family - we are really taking stock of how fortunate we are to have our amazing Ben in our lives, and would like to give back to the place that has given us the opportunity to love, protect, raise and enjoy our little boy.
