Julia was born with a heart defect that required sugery at 7 weeks old. During her 110 day stay at Chidlren's hospital we learned about the HeartBeat 5000. We are very thankful for the phenominal care Julia was given. Without technology and the caring staff at Children's Julia would not be the engergetic 8 year-old she is today. With the help of a pacemaker Julia is able to keep up with her friends. A few of her favorite activites are, golfing, biking, rollerblading, softball, girl scouts, and singing in the church choir.Â
