About Heart of Art 2025

Heart of Art is the signature annual fundraising event for the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette. In its 16th year, this annual live and silent auction provides over 30% of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette’s annual operating budget.

5:30 - 6:30 PM: Cocktails & Hors D'oeuvres

  • Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Skewers: Tender, succulent chicken skewers drizzled with a sweet and savory teriyaki glaze, creating a perfect balance of flavors.
  • Mushroom Arancini Bites: Crispy, golden-brown risotto bites stuffed with earthy mushrooms and finished with a delicate, savory touch.

6:45 - 8:00 PM: Main Course & Dessert

  • Southwest Salad: A vibrant blend of butter lettuce, red leaf, roasted corn, red onion, pine nuts, goat’s cheese, and creamy avocado vinaigrette, finished with crispy tortilla strips.
  • Lobster and Crab Stuffed Filet: A tender filet mignon stuffed with a succulent lobster and crab mixture, drizzled with a rich tarragon herb beurre blanc, paired with creamy cheddar grits, crispy shoestring fries, and fresh asparagus.
  • Orange Cheesecake: A velvety orange-infused cheesecake topped with cinnamon whipped cream, and garnished with a chili maple glaze for a hint of sweet and spice.

Vegan/Vegetarian: Filet Substituted with Fried Eggplant

About the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette

The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, the only accredited museum in Northwest Indiana, has been a cultural hub since 1909. Serving a fourteen-county region, it is dedicated to the collection, exhibition, and education of the arts, supported by the generosity of visitors, community members, and local businesses.

With four galleries showcasing rotating exhibitions and a permanent collection of over 1,400 works, the museum offers an ever-evolving experience. In addition to its exhibitions, the museum presents a diverse array of events and popular hands-on classes that further engage the community, fostering creativity and skill development. The museum is open daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with free admission.
