For 32 years, Hearts of Gold has stood beside homeless mothers and their children in New York City — helping them find their footing, and their way forward, through crisis. What began as one woman's response to a crisis on the street has grown into a full continuum of support: guidance toward stable housing, workforce development, childhood education, and wraparound services that treat every family as capable of more than survival.

Over three decades, that mission has meant thousands of mothers a path forward — and thousands of children growing up with the foundation every child deserves. Golden then, golden now: the belief that a family in crisis is still a family full of worth has never wavered.
