Will there be access to overnight accommodations for this event?

We have a limited room block available at Poplar Springs Inn for those who'd like to stay onsite at the event venue.  If you are interested in staying overnight at Poplar, send us an email to info@alexsarmyccf.org to confirm your room.  Overnight rooms at Poplar Springs Inn onsite will be $300+tax.  There is also a spa onsite should you wish to book spa services during your stay!

Additionally, we have negotiated rates at the follow area hotels (check back as more may be added):

  • Holiday Inn Express Warrenton - $169 + tax - Use code "Alex's Army Gala" when booking

 

Event Attire/Dress Code

Black Tie Optional (Women usually wear formal long or cocktail dresses / Men usually wear dark suits or tuxes with any color tie/bow tie)

 

Early Bird Registration

Early Bird Discounted Tickets are available until 11:59 pm EST on September 30th.  Early Bird discounts are only available for Individual Ticket purchases and are not available for sponsorships or the already discounted Table for 8 option.

 

Venue Parking

Handicap Accessible parking is available at the venue.  You must have a Handicap Accessible parking license plate or hangtag displayed.

All other parking will be located at the Event Parking area and we will provide shuttle service to/from the Manor and your vehicle

 

Family Sponsorship Information - I cannot attend this event, how can I contribute to sponsor a family?

Thank you for thinking of our local couples & families to have the opportunity to attend in your absence.  You will purchase tickets through the Tickets & Sponsors page.  Select Sponsor a Family to attend.  You have the option to remain anonymous with your contribution if you'd like.  When you complete registration, you will receive both an email confirmation of your purchase and seperately a link to forward tickets.  Our Alex's Army team will see your generous donation and will be able to re-allocate your tickets to one of our local families or couples - there is nothing further you will need to do!

 

What is GIVI?

The Givi App is the online bidding tool you will need to have access to for the event.  This app will allow you to partipicipate in the Silent & Live Auction, as well as other fun things like our Wine Grab at the event!  After you register you will receive several automated emails with links to download the app.  We highly suggest setting up your account & credit card info prior to the Gala event to save time at the event.

 

What if I have trouble with the Givi App?

The app has its own FAQs section we suggest you check out first.  We will have a few dedicated staff at the event who can assist in setting up your access if you have any trouble ahead of time.
