The Henry’s Hope Gala returns for its second year as an evening of remembrance, purpose, and progress.
What began as a deeply personal mission has grown into a community movement. Following the success of our inaugural gala, which raised over $182,000 for stillbirth research and family support, we gather again in Henry’s honor to expand that impact even further.

An Evening That Matters
Henry’s Hope Gala: Constellations of Hope is a black-tie optional dinner and dance featuring:
- A seated dinner experience
- Powerful and inspiring speakers
- Live and silent auctions
- Live entertainment and dancing
- Meaningful moments of remembrance
Each element of the evening is thoughtfully designed to honor babies lost to stillbirth while supporting the research and care initiatives that can prevent future loss.
Why This Work Matters
Stillbirth affects 1 in 160 pregnancies, impacting more than 26,000 families each year in the United States—71 every day.
More babies are stillborn each year than die from prematurity and SIDS combined.
The stillbirth rate in the U.S. has remained largely unchanged for over 50 years.
Among high-income nations, the United States ranks 48th out of 49 in reducing stillbirth rates.
Stillbirth is defined as the loss of a baby at 20 weeks of pregnancy or later.
Behind every number is a family forever changed.
Through Henry’s Hope Gala, we are working to:
- Fund critical stillbirth prevention research
- Improve clinical awareness and standards of care

- Build a community committed to change
A Growing Mission
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we exceeded our 2025 goal—raising over $182,000.
Now, we are setting our sights higher.
Our goal for 2026 is to build on this momentum—expanding both awareness and funding to accelerate research and improve outcomes for families everywhere.

About the Greater Houston Chapter
The Henry’s Hope Gala is hosted by the Greater Houston Chapter of the Star Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization dedicated to stillbirth prevention and support.
We are a community of physicians, researchers, families, and advocates—entirely volunteer-driven—united by a shared commitment to saving lives and supporting those affected by loss.
