I’m thrilled to have been chosen as a Hero in Hats, Putting a Lid on Breast Cancer! This is a fundraiser supporting Blount Memorial Foundation's charge to raise funds to expand access to screening and diagnostic services through a new contrast injecting mammography machine. As someone who has walked the breast cancer journey, I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! I will never forget September 19, 2018. My specific cancer diagnosis was Gods' hand of protection on my life. Many people do not get their yearly mammograms, but I tell everyone I can, that it truly saved my life. I have made it my mission to encourage all women to make sure they do not put off their testing. For many, time is not on their side, and their life may be spared by early detection.
