Larissa Wohl

Larissa Wohl joined WKRN News as the host of Local On 2 in July 2022 and could not be more excited to call Nashville home.

Originally from Los Angeles, Larissa worked in multiple markets along the west coast, doing everything from MMJ reporting to producing and anchoring.

In 2015, her passion for philanthropy and animals led her to Hallmark Channel, where she hosted, produced, and entertained viewers on their daily morning show, Home & Family.

While there, she also launched Hallmark Channel’s Network initiative, Adoption Ever After, and hosted numerous primetime specials such as American Rescue Dog Show, Tails of Joy, Love Ever After, and Cat Bowl. To date, Larissa has helped thousands of homeless animals find their forever homes and is a huge animal rescue advocate.

Larissa has been coming to Music City for years and is already a huge fan of the local communities, the art scene, the variety of restaurants and wine bars, the diverse history, and the local spirit.

During her downtime, you can find her volunteering for various non-profit organizations, reading, catching up on silly reality television, enjoying a glass of wine, and, of course, hanging with her daughter, fiancé and three rescue pups, Muppet, Maple, and Piggly!

A few additional tidbits about Larissa: She loves music but can’t sing, her favorite food is Sushi and she created a virtual book club that meets twice a month!
