I know what it's like to look fine on the outside and be tormented on the inside. Childhood sexual assault caused me to suffer in silence for over 30 years. And since my participation in Hidden Water's green circle in 2020, my voice, my confidence and my faith have been restored. I launched Rose Child Healing at the end of 2021 to provide faith-based coaching for people who have experienced trauma in childhood and in February 2022, I joined Hidden Water again as a Junior Keeper. Hidden Water was and continues to be a pivotal space for me to heal and grow. I intend to raise $1,000 this Giving Tuesday and bring awareness to as many people as possible about the long term effects of CSA while empowering survivors to take the next right step in their healing.
