Recently I had a chance to sit with all the GREEN KEEPERS. These are folks who have been harmed sexually as children, and are stepping up to do their healing work alongside others who have been harmed. They hold the spaces where our participants who have been victimized by sexual abuse can come and find community. It can not be overstated how life changing the GREEN Circles are for people who have been trying to heal in isolation. How many times I hear from participants or from the Keepers of the GREEN Circles the miraculous changes people experience in just 12 weeks.

I get emotional sitting with these Keepers as they tell the stories of how their circles have evolved over the weeks. So often we hear it said they gathered as nervous individuals wondering why they joined this circle, to a family-like circle holding space for each other, without judgment or pressure to heal on someone else's timeline. These spaces are crucial for those who have been harmed, to sit with others who understand them. They do not need to explain to anyone - everyone in the space understands.
