The trail is where I learned how to be still, even while moving.
It taught me that strength doesn’t have to be loud, it can be steady. One step at a time. Forward, even when it’s slow.
Hiking became my reset. My clarity. Proof that small, consistent steps truly transform you.
When Ozzi (my dog) came into my life, the miles meant even more. He reminds me to be present, to move because it feels good, and to find joy in the simple things.
Hike-a-Thon isn’t just about distance for me. It’s about honoring growth, choosing resilience, and showing up for something bigger than myself. If my steps inspire someone else to take theirs or help support this cause then every uphill climb is worth it.
