Airington Law Hike for Kids 2022

Our 2022 Hike for Kids has ended - but you can head over to blueskyfund.org/hikeforkids for more up to date info!

Over $85,000 raised to continue Blue Sky's outdoor education and outdoor adventure programming with ~2,000 3rd-12th grade Richmond-area students this school year!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who hiked, donated, spread the word, sponsored, volunteered, and participated in-person or from afar in the 2022 Airington Law Hike for Kids - we couldn't have done it without you!

We had a total of 266 hikers, 42 volunteers, and raised the largest amount to-date!

Join us for our 11th annual Hike For Kids where each step on the trail helps Blue Sky Fund make the outdoors more accessible for youth of color in Richmond.

Hike For Kids is Blue Sky Fund’s signature event benefiting youth in the City of Richmond. This outdoors event brings together hikers to either hit the trails of one of Richmond’s most popular attractions, the James River Park System, or any trail of their choice across the country. Together, participants raise funds and awareness of our outdoor education programs. Richmond hikers will enjoy some of the best urban trails in the country with either a 3, 8 or 14 mile loop. All are welcomed to celebrate the journey at our post-hike party with food, beer, games and live music.

Thank you to our Sponsors: Airington Law, The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, CoStar, Kaléo, Salomon & Ludwin, TrueTimber, Riverside Outfitters, Sageview Foundation, McGuireWoods, Richmond Family Magazine and Väsen Brewing Company.
