Hello friends and family,

Most of you know we have recently opened our home to foster children. Although our home is open to infants and toddlers, along the way we discovered a neat program called KidSave that is geared towards helping older foster children find adoptive families, hosts and mentors. 

The program is a series of events that allows foster children who are wanting to find a family, to mingle and meet families who may be open to hosting or adopting these children. 

We attended our first event a few weeks ago and met some awesome kids who are truly just looking for great permanent homes and/or mentors.

Whether we decide to pursue this program as a means to adoption or just be mentors for some of them, we truly think this is a great program that helps these kids find loving families and the support they need to thrive. 

The next event coming up is a hike in LA county and serves as a fundraiser for the program. We would greatly appreciate any donation you would be willing to make to help these kids.
