Both my grandparents passed away due to cancer. . . one to eye cancer and one to lung cancer. I was not fortunate enough to meet my dad's dad as he passed at age 47. However, my mom's father had a huge influence on my life. My favorite memory was snow sledding in Tennessee one evening with everyone else in our neighborhood. We crashed into a bob wire fence. Granddad was so wonderful in making me feel safe and comforted even though my face was cut and bleeding quite profusely. I was only 6 at the time. To this day, I remember him living his life from his Heart Center, a beautiful spirit indeed!
