One Hope United (OHU) invites you to our Holiday Hope Brunch on Sunday, December 6. You will enjoy wonderful food while supporting a great cause. The brunch fundraiser will also have a brief program and auction. 

OHU has worked alongside children and families for more than a century. Today, the organization serves over 10,000 children and families from early childhood through young adulthood across Florida and Illinois with family support programs and foster care and adoption services. A single truth guides the work: children build stronger futures when they experience real stability and stability grows out of relationships that hold. 

Donations raised at this event will support programs like our Hope Houses—a specialized foster home model for teens who have run out of placement options. These family-like homes provide a nurturing environment for youth ages 13–17 who have experienced significant instability in foster care. These youth have experienced an average of 24 placement moves before they arrive at a Hope House. Yet, within the walls of our Hope Houses, we rewrite that narrative. Youth stay an average of 355 days before successful exit. Nearly one third earn their driver's license—a milestone that represents independence and hope.
