R:12CROSSFIT "THE TOUGH MOTHER" CHALLENGE

Welcome to the R:12 CrossFit  fundraising page for HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer! When you support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance through registration or a donation to my HOM Teal Strides page, you help fund critical research and programming for women and families impacted by ovarian cancer. 

This fundraising effort is being undertaken by a group of men who live out of state but are committed to this MN program.  They are putting their own twist to their "walk" by participating in an event called the "Tough Mother".  The man at the lead of this group has a personal connection to this cause, as his mom, Lori, has been battling Ovarian Cancer since late 2020. His paternal grandmother passed away from this disease in 2005. 

CrossFit consists of high intensity, constantly varied workouts. In honor of Lori, Sam created the workout called "The Tough Mother". There will be up to 50 participating in this unique effort with three different levels of difficulty, so that everyone regardless of fitness level can participate.
