Twenty years ago on February 8th, our family experienced the loss of Jane Franczyk. Wife, Stepmom, friend, and ovarian cancer patient. She lived with this disease for a total of 14 months and passed away at the age of 52.  Twenty years ago in July I learned of a little walk run sponsored by MOCA and called to volunteer.  Since then, I have served with this organization in many different ways and have met a crew of families and survivors affected by this disease. 

When I started volunteering with this walk/run my son was in a stroller and only 5 months old. He has grown into an adult and is currently a junior in college.  We are still committed to this organization and its unwavering commitment to disease.
