After being taken by ambulance on Friday, August 13, 2021, I had surgery on September 29th to remove a grapefruit-sized mass in my right abdomen/pelvic area. The mass encased my right ovary and fallopian tube. They also removed my left ovary and fallopian tube, along with endometriosis. The left ovary burst upon removal...it was the cancerous one. I was diagnosed with Endometrioid Ovarian Cancer Stage IC.
I started once-weekly chemotherapy on November 12, 2021, finishing on March 18, 2022.
